Welcome to My Journey
I'm 50+, recovering from Breast Implant Illness, suffering from hot flashes, yet I'm determined it's not too late to turn my life around by taking time for myself, eating better, exercising regularly, and spending time with friends and family that support my goals. Most importantly, I intend to figure out how to conquer menopause!! Between the weight gain, anxiety, hot flashes and saggy skin, I will blog about my progress (or regress) to keep myself accountable and offer tips that have helped me through this complex stage of life.
I created the Happy Hour Diet and wrote the Happy Hour Diet Cookbook when I discovered, from trial and error, that a Low-Carb/Ketogenic Diet and Intermittent Fasting lifestyle curbed all of my symptoms of menopause.
