Welcome to your first step to reaching Ketosis.  Just like starting any new diet or exercise program,

check with your doctor to make sure this plan is right for you.

What to expect:

By the end of Week 1, expect to lose 5-7 pounds.  Because this week is designed to detox your body of toxins and deplete it of carbohydrates you will experience significant water loss along with 1-2 pounds of fat loss.  Many people experience flu-like symptoms, depending on how much sugar and toxins you have stored, but you are actually on track.  Just make sure you get extra sleep and drink lots of water.  After week 1, you will lose weight at a more steady and manageable pace (1-2lbs/week).
